Ben and Sabrina’s wedding day at The Columbia Collective Barrel Room was filled with personality, intention, and so many beautifully unique details that reflected who they are together. From the very beginning of the day, every part of the celebration felt bold, artistic, and deeply personal while still remaining refined and thoughtfully curated.
Sabrina embraced a completely nontraditional bridal look, choosing a colorful floral wedding dress that immediately became one of the most striking elements of the day. Between her vibrant bouquet, dyed hair, tattoos, sapphire engagement ring, and clean off-white cowboy boots, every detail worked together so effortlessly to create a look that felt expressive, edgy, and uniquely her. Even the invitations carried so much character and artistry, giving guests a glimpse into the atmosphere and aesthetic of the wedding long before the celebration even began.
While getting ready, Sabrina celebrated with her bridesmaids over champagne in the beautifully designed suites at Columbia Collective. Instead of traditional robes, the group wore custom shirts that added even more personality and individuality to the morning. Every detail throughout the day felt intentional and authentic to the couple rather than simply following tradition.
One of the most emotional moments before the ceremony was Sabrina’s first look with her father inside the venue’s stunning sunroom. Filled with soft natural light, lush plants, and modern decor, the space felt airy, peaceful, and incredibly intimate. Shortly after, Sabrina shared a private first look with Ben in the same beautifully lit room. The emotion, anticipation, and joy between the two of them created such a meaningful moment before the ceremony officially began.
The ceremony inside The Columbia Collective Barrel Room carried such a dramatic and intimate atmosphere unlike any other wedding venue in Washington. Surrounded by floor-to-ceiling stacked wine barrels throughout the cellar space, the room felt moody, cinematic, and incredibly immersive as guests quietly waited for the ceremony to begin.
Just before the processional started, the entire room fell silent in anticipation. As the wedding party entered the barrel room, all eyes immediately turned toward Sabrina as she walked down the aisle in her stunning colorful gown. The combination of the moody cellar lighting and her vibrant floral dress created such a breathtaking contrast that instantly captured everyone’s attention.
As the ceremony continued, the atmosphere only became more emotional and intimate. One of the most meaningful parts of the ceremony was the breaking of the glass — a traditional Jewish wedding custom symbolizing the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem, the fragility and commitment of marriage, and the understanding that joy and sorrow coexist throughout life together. The moment ended with an enthusiastic “Mazel Tov!” from family and friends as Ben and Sabrina officially sealed their marriage covenant together.
After the ceremony, the couple signed their marriage certificate back inside the sunroom surrounded by beautiful natural light, creating another quiet and meaningful moment together before joining guests for the evening celebration.
Cocktail hour inside the barrel room carried such an incredible atmosphere as guests explored the cellar space, enjoyed drinks, and celebrated alongside Ben and Sabrina. The Columbia Collective truly feels unlike any other venue, blending moody architectural character with an intimate energy that completely transforms throughout the evening.
As the reception continued late into the night, the celebration only became more lively and energetic. Heartfelt toasts, nonstop dancing, and the warmth shared between family and friends filled the cellar space with so much life and emotion throughout the evening. One of the most unique parts of the barrel room is how timeless the space feels once the reception is underway — tucked within the cellar atmosphere beneath the warm lighting and surrounding barrels, it almost felt impossible to tell how late into the night the celebration had gone.
The entire wedding day felt like such a beautiful reflection of Ben and Sabrina themselves — bold, intentional, artistic, emotional, and completely unforgettable.
